Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PhotoQuill collects, how we use it to operate the service, and what choices you have if you want to access, correct, export, or delete your data.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in or use PhotoQuill, we may collect account details such as your email address and authentication identifiers, prompt and generation request data, images you upload or create, subscription status, transaction references, and technical usage details such as selected model, browser, device, IP-derived session metadata, and credits consumed.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to authenticate your account, run image generation and editing workflows, deliver purchased plans or credit top-ups, detect fraud and abuse, provide customer support, monitor reliability, and improve performance and product quality. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

PhotoQuill depends on third-party infrastructure that processes data only as needed to run the service.

  • Supabase for authentication, profiles, and application data storage.
  • Creem for payment processing, subscription lifecycle management, billing records, and automated AI prompt moderation via the Creem Moderation API.
  • Runware and Kie.ai as AI model providers for image generation workflows (FLUX, Z-Image, Nano Banana, Seedream).
  • Google if you choose Google sign-in for authentication.
  • Cloudflare R2 and related delivery providers for generated image hosting and retrieval.

4. AI Prompt Moderation

To protect users and comply with payment-processor content-safety requirements, every text prompt submitted to our AI image generation endpoints is screened in real time by the Creem Moderation API before the request is forwarded to any model provider. The prompt text and an opaque user identifier are sent to Creem solely for this safety check. Prompts that fail moderation are rejected, no credits are charged, and no generation is performed. See our Terms of Service Acceptable Use Policy for the full list of prohibited content.

5. Storage, Security, and Retention

We use access controls, encrypted transport, and standard cloud security measures to protect service data. We keep account information, billing state, and generated assets for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights related to restriction, objection, or data portability. To make a request, contact us at support@photoquill.com.

7. Cookies and Essential Service Data

PhotoQuill uses essential cookies, local storage, and session data for login state, account continuity, checkout flow handling, and core product functionality. We do not use advertising cookies to sell or broker personal information.
